Vassula’s witness in 3 Mexican cities

Exactly one year ago, one member of the TLIG Mexican prayer groups was inspired to invite Vassula to Mexico. During a prayer, while opening the Messages at random, they received a confirmation for this invitation from Jesus. Blessed be His name! The Lord wanted His Prophet to return to Mexico for the seventh time. The preparation of the event began. For the glory of God, the TLIG prayer groups from the three cities worked together to prepare for this visit in unity and love.
MEXICO CITY 18-22 October 2012
Vassula’s mission in Mexico began with her departure from the Athens airport, on October 18, 2012, at 4 o'clock in the morning. We arrived at the Mexico City airport at 8 o’clock pm., and were greeted with love and a warm hugs by our beloved friends, readers, organizers and translators of Vassula's meetings in Mexico City, Hilda, Julieta, Patrick, Alejandra and Bruno. On our way to the hotel, Hilda mentioned Vassula’s previous witnessings in Mexico, noting that it had been the beginning of Patrick, Bruno and Julietta’s conversions. Since then, as apostles of God, they have a flame inside them, and want to spread the message of True Life in God in Mexico.
The next day, Friday, October 19th, at midday, Vassula was interviewed at the National Radio-TV Station-Formula for 15 minutes by Maxine Woodside, in her program “All for women”, one of the most famous TV-RADIO Programs not only in Mexico City, but in the whole country. Hilda accompanied Vassula in all her witnessings and interviews in Mexico and interpreted from English to Spanish. Maxine presented Vassula as a mystic, a woman who receives messages from God and bears witness to the world. Vassula talked about the beginning of her experience with God and the messages. Maxine had interviewed Vassula during her previous meetings in Mexico and her joy was evident when she welcomed Vassula again on her program. At the end of the program, Maxine announced Vassula’s upcoming meetings in Mexico City, Guadalajara and Monterrey, and thanked Vassula for the short interview.

Later in the afternoon, Vassula was interviewed by Roberto O’Farril on his program “Freedom to Believe”, on Channel 34, in Metepec, State of Mexico. This was also a very popular TV program in Mexico. For the interview was also invited the Mariologist, Luis Eduardo Lopez Padilla to defend Vassula against the negative comments by saying: “I am here not to defend Vassula, because men always fail, but to defend and honor the message of Jesus Christ who is speaking through Vassula Ryden.”

The program lasted one hour, and at the end, Roberto O’Farril announced Vassula’s meetings in the 3 Mexican cities, thanked her for coming to his program and sharing with him 27 years experience with God. After the transmission of the program, the call center of the TV station received many “thank you” calls for the wonderful emission, for letting them know more about the End of Times and asking where they could find the TLIG Books.
The next day, Saturday, October 20th, we had lunch at Hilda’s house with her family and some of the organizers of Vassula's meeting in Mexico City and Monterrey, who at the same time are also witnesses, translators, or readers who carry out all matters relating TLIG in Mexico. As Vassula told them, the only thing that is missing from them are wings.
As it always happens at Vassula’s meetings this time was no exception as the organizers, as well as all of us went through intense stress and anxiety, as the tlig books had arrived in Mexico City from Guadalajara, but as it was late Saturday and the offices were closed, they would remain there until Monday morning. The meeting was the next day, on Saturday morning, and evangelization without books is not evangelization…it is disaster! With God's help and through the ability of Julieta, who managed to communicate with the general manager of the postal company, the problem was solved the same day. What a relief! After that, we enjoyed our gathering.
Everyone was happy that Vassula had accepted the invitation of the TLIG Association of Mexico and now she was there, among them. Every time there are obstacles to the work of God, I can see how strongly we are intimidated by stress, anxiety and fear, how little our faith and our abandonment is to Him, thus forgetting that God is our strength, and that He never abandoned us. Without Him we would never manage…
Public meeting at Centro Banamex – Sunday 21 October
The attendance had begun early at the Centro Banamex. At the entrance of the hall were tables with Spanish books, DVDs, and copies of Vassula’s paintings for the public. A couple on the stage with a guitar and two great voices along with the participation of the audience praised God, creating an atmosphere of joy and spiritual reflection. A few minutes before her speech, Vassula, responded to the desire of the organizers, about 20 people, to bless each one, and took this opportunity to thank them for their time to organize the event saying that what they did is for the glory of God. She added saying that with the power of Christ they have to work and spread like fragrance His message in Mexico City.

In the Hall were about 1000 people, when Patrick Duchemin, reader and active witness of Tlig, presented and invited Vassula to the podium to give her testimony. On both sides of the podium were 2 big screens so that everyone could watch. Vassula accompanied by Hilda who translated into Spanish, ascended the podium and greeted the attendees, thanking them for coming to hear the words of Jesus. Then she asked them to pray the Lord's Prayer. Vassula, before starting her speech asked how many in the audience are aware of and have read the messages of True Life in God. The majority of the audience did not know nor had read the messages. For this reason, Vassula talked about the beginning of her experience with her guardian angel and later with Jesus. Her testimony lasted long, and the interest of the attendees was great as Vassula continued unfolding the message, along with a number of events that occurred during the last 27 years. Among many subjects of True Life in God, Vassula explained very profound spiritual matters, speaking the simple language of God:
…Why does God manifest Himself; why does He give us these messages? … Apostasy means that baptized Christians voluntarily reject God and His Sacraments. … When Daniel’s prophesy will be fulfilled, this will be the End of Times. … The first commandment of God is Love, and Love is a gift from the Holy Spirit. … God the Father forgives us when we forgive others and asks from us to eliminate our ego in order to forgive others.

When Vassula testifies, the spirit of God is upon her and the Lord is glorified through her mouth. God’s teachings open a broad highway so that many will be able to walk in it, for Jesus is determined to revive and bring us out of our lethargy. Jesus says in a message: I have raised you to be My witness and through your mouth heal the broken hearts, raise the death and be a menace to My enemy. I will continue to engrave with My Finger My Love Hymn. TLIG, June 22, 1994
Vassula, closing her witnessing said: “The reading of the messages is a progressive teaching that helps us to better understand the Bible, to approach Jesus Christ and became more intimate with Him.” Then she asked the people to stand up and repeat after her the prayer of "Repentance and Deliverance" given by Jesus Christ on November 13, 2006.

Many books, DVDs and copies of Vassula’s paintings were sold. For the first time in Mexico City, Vassula’s testimony was broadcasted live on TLIG radio via internet, and we hope to repeat it for her other meetings worldwide, so people will be able to hear her presentation live, wherever they are.
After her speech, Vassula met with the prayer group and Mexico City’s TLIG organizers, thanking them for the very good preparation of the meeting and making some suggestions to remind them that our priority is to spread the messages to as many people out there that have neither heard them nor read them.
The next day Monday, October 22nd, we visited the Church of Our Lady of Guadeloupe with our friends. The yard was full of people who had come from different Mexican cities, and the church was filled with the faithful attending the liturgy. We thanked the Mother of God and prayed for Vassula's next meetings in Mexico. When leaving the church, Hilda was informed by a phone call, that her son suddenly got sick and had to go to hospital. This happened the day just after Vassula’s successful meeting in Mexico City. It was another attack on Hilda; however, after prayers from TLIG friends worldwide had a happy ending, since the little child stayed in the hospital only one night before going back into the arms of his parents.

The next day, Tuesday, October 23rd, we thanked our good friends for what they had done for the glory of God and for us, and left Mexico City for Guadalajara.
GUADALAJARA 23-25 October 2012
We arrived at Guadalajara’s airport on Tuesday, October 23rd. Javier & Carmen Pelayo with Dr. Franklin Abrego & Dr. Carlos Vega, readers of the True Life in God messages and organizers of Vassula’s meetings in Guadalajara, welcomed us. All of them were known to us as they have worked for many years for the glory of God, spreading the messages of TLIG in Mexico, participating in the prayer groups and on the pilgrimages of TLIG. Javier looked fine, vivid and happy, although 2 weeks earlier had entered the hospital with a heart attack.

The next day, Wednesday, October 24th, at 10.30 in the morning, Vassula was interviewed at AZTECA ERES TV Station, by Mario Estrada on his very popular program “EXTRA NORMAL”. Vassula said that she had come from Greece to give her testimony in Guadalajara and two other big cities in Mexico, and gave some background information. She explained the visions she received and how she receives the messages from the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The program lasted about an hour and the young journalist announced Vassula’s meetings in Guadalajara and Monterrey, thanked her for the interesting interview, and wished her success on her next meeting in Mexico.

Later at 5pm, we visited a Carmelite convent, where eight Carmelite nuns behind the iron bars welcomed Vassula and listened in silence to her testimony. At this time, five priests also came to meet Vassula, including Father Tiberio Munari who had twice seen twice the face of Jesus Christ appear on Vassula’s face at previous witness meetings in Guadalajara. For more than an hour, Vassula talked about her mission in the world since 1985. At the end of her talk she said: “I am doing what God wants me to do despite the persecutions”, and replied to several questions made by the priests. Some of the nuns asked Vassula to bless and pray for them. Vassula did it and asked them to pray for her and her mission too.

Later, after dinner, at Javier and Carmen Pelayos house, Vassula had a meeting with the organizers and talked to them about the priority of publishing the one volume of True Life in God in Spanish. She suggested to them several ways to spread the message of the Lord in Guadalajara.
On Thursday, October 25th, the organizers had arranged an appointment to be held at the Metropolitan Cathedral with the General Vicar, Mons. Ramiroand Valdez Sanduz. Vassula explained to him that she was visiting Mexico for the 7th time, invited by the lay people to speak about Jesus, the Mother of God, and the Eucharist through her experience, emphasizing that her mission is for Christian Unity. The vicar was listening carefully to Vassula and at the end of the meeting told her to continue her mission in the world.

Public meeting at Zapopan Jalisco – Athletic Stadium - Thursday 25 October
The TLIG prayer group of Guadalajara had many obstacles to overcome. All doors were closed for the booking of a place, one after the other. Only two weeks before the meeting, they found a stadium, but did not obtain the final permits until 3 days prior to the meeting! The Lord again showed His Power and Glory, since with only 3 days of publicity, there were 3.500 people present!
This was Vassula’s 3rd meeting in Guadalajara. At 6.30p.m Vassula arrived at the Zapopan, Jalisco – Athletic Stadium. Many people were around the stadium and thousands more of all ages, families with little children, priests, nuns, people in wheelchairs, and many-many young were inside waiting to hear Vassula’s testimony. The young choir was on stage playing and singing with enthusiasm and joy for Jesus Christ, and people were singing with the same enthusiasm.

As Vassula was walking to the stage, in the middle of the stadium, the people welcomed her with love and enthusiasm, applauding, calling her name, taking pictures and thanking her for coming from so far away to share her experience with God. All the attendees could clearly see Vassula during her speech because just behind her was a large screen. Hilda was one more time her interpreter in Spanish. People were coming in continuously during Vassula’s speech.

Vassula thanked everybody for their thirst and desire for God, and started her witnessing. She talked about the early years of her experience and continued developing some of the themes of TLIG. I heard Vassula repeating the message of Christ in Guadalajara as in Mexico City few days ago, always with the same fervor, the same passion and joy, but above all with responsibility in what the Lord has assigned her to accomplish.
“… What can I give in return to you, My chosen one, for all the miles you have made for Me, and for all the hours your feet stood, for My sake, in My assemblies?”

Vassula said: ‘… When God speaks, He gives Hope; and what is Hope? It Is the Holy Spirit. And in this Time of Apostasy, God is pouring out His Holy Spirit to renew us and make us apostles of the End of Times. And there are many all over the world because, God is fighting against Evil. If you read the messages, you will discover God and you will better understand the Bible. I will pray for all of you and for your intensions. Jesus knows your names and your needs. Thank you for saying yes to the Lord, as you came here tonight.’

At the end of the talk, a catholic priest who was present, thanked Vassula for her visit to Mexico and said that the message she conveys is a blessing. He blessed her and her mission. The youthful music band gave their rhythm again, singing with passion and joy for Christ. They asked Vassula to join them. Vassula responded, as she went to take photos with them. All the people there enjoyed moments of joy and blessings! Before Vassula left the stadium, she blessed the people with the cross containing Holy Wood.

Early in the morning, the next day, we thanked our TLIG friends in Guadalajara for their hospitality and love and departed for Monterrey.
MONTERREY 26-28 October 2012
Our flight from Guadalajara to Monterrey was two hours late, due to the dense fog that was in the airport, and there was a risk that Vassula could not be at the scheduled interview on television at noon. At the Monterrey airport Jesus and Lupita Duran welcomed Vassula, Hilda and me with relief and joy, and led us straight to the studio for Vassula’s interview.
The attacks continued, but the help and grace of God was with us. Finally Vassula arrived just before the end of the broadcast, and she was interviewed only for eight minutes by Maria Julia la Fuente on the live program "Telediario", at a Multimedia TV station in Monterrey. There were questions and answers about the messages of TLIG, her mission, and her witness in Monterrey. In concluding the interview Vassula said: “The only thing I want is to accomplish my mission to glorify God. Although the time of the interview was minimal, from the reaction of some employees on the program, we thought that maybe it was Vassula’s best interview in Mexico.

Later on AZTECA TV in Monterrey, Vassula was interviewed for about an hour by Luis Padua, director of the TV station. On this program, Vassula talked about the last 27 years of her mission; how she had been working for the Lord - sometimes for many hours per day. She talked about the way to approach and to love God, the simplicity of God, about the problem of the division of Christians, and about Unity in Diversity. Vassula also commented that violence, corruption, drugs exist in the world because of the lack of knowledge of God. Luis Padua asked Vassula if she has a special message for Mexico. Vassula replied: I do not have a message for Mexico, but I am here to give a message of hope to the Mexicans.

On Saturday, October 27, Vassula spoke at “Club de Leones Monterrey”. The hall was full. About 1300 people came not only from Monterrey, but from other Mexican cities near the U.S. border. A small band played and sang hymns with the participation of the people. In the hall, there were two large screens for the participants to watch the speech. Loupita and Chuy Duran introduced Vassula and asked the attendees to welcome her. As Vassula crossed the hall, directed for the stage, the attendees stood up to welcome with joy and respect the prophet of the End Times that came to their town for the 3rd time.
Vassula started her witness by saying:
I am always happy to talk about Jesus. Praised be the Lord! … I bring you a letter from God. I am not here to convince you. … The message is a school for all of us and it is actually for our times. … To know God’s will is through repentance. … The proof of repentance is love. … Love is a virtue; it is the entry to heaven. For more than an hour Vassula continued by talking about: Prayer, the Eucharist, Prophecies, and the Apostasy.
At the end, Vassula blessed the people with the cross, while Hilda read in Spanish the prayer of repentance and deliverance that the attendees repeated. As in other cities of Mexico, Vassula's speech touched the souls of the people, who after the meeting rushed to purchase books. Also the copies of Vassula’s paintings sold out.

The organizers, volunteers, and readers of the TLIG messages in Monterrey, wanting to express their love to Vassula and celebrate the success of her witness, organized a farewell dinner, which was attended by about 50 people. Among them were about 10 children, volunteers at Monterrey’s Beth Myriam during weekends when they do not have school. These children, on behalf of all the TLIG volunteers, offered Vassula a gift, thanking her because she went to Monterrey for the glory of God. Vassula reminded them that: “As the Virgin Mary says in the messages, you are the apostles of the End of Times and each one of you has a different mission. So, I want to thank you for all what you have done. When you go back to the Beth Myriam, please tell them that I love all; this is my message to them.”

The next morning, at Monterrey’s airport we said goodbye to our dear friends Chuy and Lupita Duran, readers and volunteers of TLIG for many years. Vassula thanked them for the excellent organization, and as in the other two cities suggested to them ways to spread the messages in their city.
I reflected, watching closely Vassula’s three testimonies in Mexico, and thought about the joy of Christ, when His children work with a flame, with love and with unity to prepare the witness of His prophet and make known His Message, as our Mexican brothers and sisters in Christ did in the three cities of Mexico. When people welcome His prophet with honor, love and faith carries the prophetic Word. Vassula’s constant effort to make known all over the world the messages which the Lord has entrusted her, working consistently with love and responsibility should be an inspiration to us all. Let us reflect on how the Lord honored us by asking us to work for Him, making known His Hymn of Love, a gift for our generation.
Thank you Jesus, our Lord, for all those people in the world who love you, and work for Your Glory. You call them apostles of the End of Times, the Echo of Your Echo. Give them Your strength to proclaim Your Word with fervour. Protect them and their families, and multiply Your vineyards.
