Februar 2004 Unsere Heilige Mutter erschien der Lady von Manor von Walsingham, Richeldis in der Mitte des 11. Jahrhunderts. Sie bat Richerdis eine Nachbildung des Hauses von Nazareth zu bauen, welches in Loretto (Italien) gefunden wurde. Dies wurde getan und es wurde zu einem bekannten Pilgerort für die nachfolgenden Jahrhunderte. Könige und Besucher aus Europa kamen bis zur Reformation (1539) unter Henry dem Vlll. Dies war der einzige Weihestätte welche nicht zerstört wurde, da es der Lieblingspilgerort der Mutter Henrys des Vlll. war. Durch die Inspiration der Anglikaner wurde die Stätte am Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts wieder belebt und ist bis heute wieder ein sehr wichtiges und beliebtes, ökumenisches Zentrum. Es gibt russisch-orthodoxe, anglikanische, katholische und methodistische Kirchen.
Wir hatten letztes Jahr sehr erfolgreiche Einkehrtage dort und so folgt dieses Jahr unser zweites Treffen in Walsingham. Ihr seid herzlich eingeladen. DATUM:

Wahres Leben in Gott - Einkehrtage im mittleren Westen der USA
Das Treffen des amerikanischen Vereins von WLIG beginnt am Freitag, 20. Februar mit einer Messfeier um 17.00 h und endet nach der Messe am Sonntag 22. Februar um 11.30 h im Franciscan Prayer Center in Independence, Missouri. Pater Tony Sullivan aus England, der geisige Leiter, wird die Teilnehmer in eine tiefere Betrachtung der WLIG Spiritualität führen. Diese Auszeit bietet eine Gelegenheit die Beziehung zu Jesus Christus zu vertiefen. Es wird Plenarveranstaltungen geben, Rosenkranzgebet, das Sakrament der Busse, die Eucharistie und stille Zeiten für eucharistische Anbetung und persönliche Betrachtung. Gib dieses Jahr dem Bräutigam hin. Nimm dir die Zeit, um auf Gottes Bitte um deine Liebe zu antworten. Gib dir selbst die Zeit und den Raum, dass der Heilige Geist dich leiten kann im Setzen von neuen Prioritäten, die dem Wahren Leben in Gott entsprechen.
