This Beth Myriam once again opened its doors in April 2006, in another area of the city of Joinville, in the southern state of Brazil, Santa Catarina.

It is maintained and supported by the TLIG Joinville Prayer Group, of which 16 volunteers take turns in the kitchen. Everyday, 110-140 lunches are served to the poor. Several activities are held throughout the week: every Monday, at 7:30 pm, a TLIG Prayer Meeting is held for the needy who frequent the Beth Myriam; on Thursday, at 2 pm, another TLIG Prayer Meeting takes place with children from 2-14 yrs. old . Holy Mass is celebrated in the Beth Myriam once a month. On the premises, seminars and Professional Training courses are given to the poor to help them better their chances for work.

The TLIG Prayer Group of Joinville is very happy to do this marvelous apostolate, one feels God’s Presence constantly through the generosity of the volunteers and the gratefulness of the humble people whose many needs are filled in this House of Mary.
