The situation in the West Bank is worsening everyday. Our BM volunteers are working carefully to distribute food and necessities to 30-35 Greek Orthodox and Latin Christian families living in dire poverty. They help the orphans, the sick, the crippled, and the retarded in these very poor families. Most Palestinian Christians in the West Bank have no work, the situation does not allow them to continue working in Jerusalem. The foreign aid to Palestine unfortunately does not trickle down to Palestine’s Christian population, making life unbearable and forcing those with some means to leave their homes and villages, and choose to immigrate to other countries.
